CHRISTOPHER FESSENDEN

Director

Christopher Fessenden
Christopher directed Tim Ryan Meinelschmidt's previous solo show ALL THE HELP YOU NEED, The Adventures of A Hollywood Handyman, which won the Overall Excellence award at the 2004 NY Fringe Festival. Christopher also directed Tim in the wildly successful production of Craig Lucas' Reckless at The Lex in Hollywood, and most recently he directed Tim's two short plays: A Little Hankie Pankie, and IT, both for the Theatre East One-Act Festival in Los Angeles. Other solo performances directed by Christopher include Ovation Award nominee Jackie Maruschak as “Tinkerbell” in Last Stop: Neverland, Tricia Dong in the tour-de-force Gunpowder Man, and Victoria Hoffman's The Thin Blue Line. In New York, he’s worked with playwrights Julianne Bernstein, directing her award-winning A Broken Man in a Brand New World and Luigi Jannuzzi's Survivors. By day Christopher is a Promo Writer/Producer/Editor (so that you know when your favorite TV shows air - a noble job to be sure), and by night, he's a Swing Dancer. So when you see him, ask him to dance with you! Christopher received his MFA in theatre directing from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts.
